Peter Jessep brings nearly 50 years of legal experience to WMD Law, with a long-standing reputation for providing practical, client-focused legal advice across the Sutherland Shire and St George region.

Background

Peter commenced his legal career as a company Solicitor with GIO Australia. He opened his own legal firm in Caringbah in 1996, then in 2004 his practice and that of Henry J Storm, established in 1978, merged to form Jessep & Storm Solicitors, a well-respected local firm that served the community for many years. Following the merger of Jessep & Storm with WMD Law in 2024, Peter now practises from the firm’s Sutherland office.

With extensive experience across Property Law, Conveyancing, Wills and Estates, Family Law, and Personal Injury, Peter is known for delivering clear advice, practical solutions, and strong outcomes for his clients. His approach is grounded in understanding each client’s individual circumstances and guiding them through legal matters with confidence and care.

Life outside WMD Law

Outside of the office, Peter enjoys sailing and has been an active member of the Port Hacking Open Sailing Club for the past thirty-five years.
