Joanna Todd

Joanna is a valued member of WMD Law’s Wills & Estates, Criminal Law, and Family Law teams.
She works closely with clients to provide practical and personalised advice on all aspects of estate planning, including the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Appointments of Enduring Guardian, and other key documents. Joanna also guides clients through the process of obtaining Grants of Probate or Letters of Administration, and supports them in the smooth administration of estates.
In addition to her estate planning expertise, Joanna is an active member of our Criminal Law Division, assisting with a wide range of matters, including driving offences, AVOs, taxation issues, and assault charges. She has extensive experience managing bail applications and the briefing and instructing of Counsel.
Background
Before joining WMD Law, Joanna gained valuable experience as a paralegal in a boutique law firm, where she supported a variety of legal matters. She joined WMD Law while completing her studies, and quickly became a trusted part of the team through her professionalism and client-focused approach.
Qualifications
Joanna holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) from the University of Notre Dame. She also completed a Diploma in Legal Practice, equipping her with the practical skills to deliver effective and outcome-driven legal support.
