Jack is a black Labrador that WMD Law purchased and trained to be a companion dog for the students at St George School last year. The majority of the students at the school are in wheelchairs and love to spend time with the warm, loving and gentle Jack.

Many schools are using Educational Support Dogs to support students in a number of ways. Dogs are very intuitive and can recognise signs of anxiety and can provide emotional support for the children.

He has settled in very well, he lives with one of the families from the school and goes to school every day. The school principal Ms Diana Murphy said “Jack is well loved and brings a lot of interest and joy to the students. Thank you to you and your team for providing this enriched engagement for our students.”
